 Makeup stand Boulevard de la République, beginning at 8 p.m., with eight themes: red workshop, blue workshop, yellow workshop, black & white workshop, animal workshop, vegetal workshop, humanoïd workshop and mechanical workshop. Public perfomance on July 29th, boulevard de la République. This workshop was aimed to present this famous dance step, and some other collective dances. Capoeira, two workshops with Beija-Flor. Public performance on July 26th at the cabaret, followed by a discussion about the origins and specificities of this dance. Nicia Ribas d'Avila talked about the semantic field relative to the samba universe, about the evolution of Brazeilian rythms through their participation in the European cultural patrimony, and also about the pedagogical issues that are necessary in any trial to learn this complex music.
